Credit and Repair Cost Adjustments in Update 2.8

In Blitz, each vehicle has unique profitability levels that dictate how many Credits it earns in battle and the cost of repairs. We'll be adjusting these levels for some vehicles with Update 2.8, but in many cases it will result in you actually earning more Credits in battle.

We decided to tackle these readjustments for two primary reasons. First of all, as more and more vehicles have been added to Blitz, some may have unfair advantages or disadvantages. Our goal is to make these adjustments so that these vehicles are in line with the rest of the vehicles. Second, some higher tier vehicles have repair costs so large that they'll end up costing you a lot of Credits if you have an "off" game. To fix this, we're reducing the repair cost of some vehicles.

Example

We tested this with the T62-A, which is having its repair cost reduced by 56% and profitability reduced by 13%. We recruited a less experienced player and had him fight five battles in a row, without using a Premium account or any camouflage. They used APCR shells only and equipped an Automatic Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kit and Repair Kit.

Average profitability decreased by 2,834 and repair cost by 12,027, thus increasing net Credits. Playing after Update 2.8 and the profitability adjustments, our player would have earned 10,245 instead of losing 30,717.
